There are 2 types of freehold ownership in Thailand: freehold on a foreign name via a condominium title and freehold acquisition by a Thai company. In Thailand, foreigners can be freehold owners of condominium units, in buildings where not more than 49% of the unit floor space is owned by foreigners.
