Chalong is Phuket's main port, the departure point for ferries to Phi Phi, Coral and Racha. The area is home to the famous Wat Chalong temple, the Big Buddha overlooking the bay, and a large community of active expatriates. Dive schools, marinas and Chalong Pier are located here.

It is a practical and residential area: affordable villas, family houses and competitively priced condos. Chalong attracts active residents (diving, sailing, remote work) thanks to its mature amenities: hospitals, supermarkets, international schools. An excellent entry point to settle in Phuket without the tourist premium.
