Rawai marks the southern tip of Phuket. It is the departure point for long-tail boats to Coral, Racha and Bon islands. The seafront, famous for its seafood restaurants and sea gypsy village, is a hub for year-round expatriates.

The area is affordable and authentic: villas with large gardens, traditional Thai houses and reasonably priced family condos. Rawai attracts foreign retirees and remote workers. Its proximity to Nai Harn and Ya Nui beach makes it a practical and friendly base, with good value for residential purchase.
